Giant. spaceships appear over 29 major cities throughout the world, and Anna (Morena Baccarin), the beautiful and charismatic leader of the extra-terrestrial "Visitors", claims to come in peace. The Visitors claim to only need a small amount of Earth's resources, in exchange for which they will share their advanced technological and medical knowledge. As a small number of humans begin to doubt the sincerity of the seemingly benevolent Visitors, FBI counter-terrorism agent Erica Evans (Elizabeth Mitchell) discovers that the aliens have spent decades infiltrating human governments, businesses, and religious institutions and are now in the final stages of their plan to take over the Earth. Erica joins the resistance movement, which includes Ryan (Morris Chestnut), a Visitor sleeper agent who over time developed human emotions and now wants to save humanity. The Visitors have won favor among the people of Earth by curing a variety of diseases, and have recruited Earth's youth — including Erica's son Tyler (Logan Huffman) — to serve them unknowingly as spies.

ABC announced that V will return November 2010 for a second season, airing on Tuesdays at 9:00 pm ET. It will contain 13 episodes.

I have seen a lot of shows about extra terrestrials and stuff like that. I really like shows like that and I can tell it's a good show because most of the actors I know from the other shows. One of my boyfriends is there, lol.

I really am hoping for a new show to watch when all is said and done and if this is as good as it looks ill buy it (quote me on that)

No no no, Erica Durance is Louis...Superman's girlfriend.
But the show V is doing good, I think. I thought they were showing it on SciFi but I guess not based on the NBC logo. Cool!

the 7 have a deeper involvement then i thought they would. I think this show is really going in a great direction but they need to show te v's true colors now.

It is truly a very good show. Lets try to finish it soon, so when it comes back on with season 2, we'll be ready to watch it on ABC on the tv.

I have to say this show is a lot deeper then smallville and has some kind of twist on each episode. The V's (bad guys) and The fifth column (good guys) keeps you on your toes, especially when the good and the bad are living on the same ship.
